The Stables is a character reverse-level cottage resting in the rural spot of St Athan. Take a short drive or walk down the country lane and into St Athan where there is a Post Office and two convenience stores so you can grab any essentials, or if you fancy a night out, there are two ideal pubs, The Roost and The Three Horseshoes, both of which serve yummy meals and local ales. Nearby, you can enjoy a stroll along the pebbled beach at Llantwit Major, or walk along the surrounding cliffs to enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean. Don’t forget to enjoy a day in the town of Barry where you can find the interesting ruins of Barry Castle, as well as a sandy beach and a bustling dock yard with a lighthouse and views of Bendricks Rock. Also in Barry you can take a thrill seeking adventure to Barry Island Pleasure Park, enjoy a range of eateries, take a ride on the Barry Tourist Railway, or visit the Stacey’s home from the popular sit-com of Gavin and Stacey.
