Within less than a mile, St Just town centre offers a bustling atmosphere with many local pubs, cafés, bakery, convenience stores and a numerous art galleries, plus if you visit in July you may catch the annual Lafrowda Day, a vibrant festival held on the third Saturday in July which celebrates music and arts. If adventure takes you further afield then Penzance is a wonderful day out, with the lovely Trengwainton Garden, its waterfront promenade and jubilee pool, and walking trails leading up to a range of historical treasures, from Lanyon Quoit to the Holy Well of St Madron, there’s plenty to see and do. The popular town of St Ives, which is famed for its superb surfing waters and immaculate beaches, as well as several great museums and art galleries, including the famous Tate Art Museum, is also within driving distance.
