Thorncroft is a short leisurely walk into the town of West Bay, famous for its location and scenes in the TV series Broadchurch, with the sights of a busy fishing harbour and delicious smells of fish and chips by the sea, you don’t need to travel far to enjoy a lovely day out. With numerous local restaurants, pubs and shops, there is lots to discover in this popular Dorset town. If you do wish to venture a little further, head for Charmouth, Lyme Regis or Exmouth off to the west, or Burton Bradstock, Abbotsbury, The Isle of Portland and Weymouth to the east. The market town of Bridport is within a 2 mile walk, where you can explore the weekly vintage market and antiques. Thorncroft is perfectly located for discovering all the beauty that the iconic Jurassic Coast has to offer.
