Thorndale is a fabulous detached Victorian house situated halfway between, the popular villages of Bowness and Windermere, with both within easy walking distance. There’s an array of shops, bars and restaurants in both villages that are popular throughout the year. Thorndale has been lovingly curated by it’s current owners to create a holiday home that is ideal for friends and families seeking luxury, contemporary accommodation in a wonderful location.
This is a large property set over three floors. The first floor has patio doors that lead from the well equipped kitchen / diner to the generous patio and garden. There are two sitting rooms occupying the second level, at the front there’s a large lounge with a bay window that allows plenty of light in, it’s furnished with comfy sofas and it has a living flame gas fire and a TV. The second sitting room, overlooks the garden and is the perfect place to relax in front of the log burning stove and also has a large screen TV. With three well-appointed bedrooms, you’ll be spoilt for choice. On the lower floor there’s a stylish dual aspect, super king size room with shower room with WC. Then two further bedrooms are both located on the top level, one is a king size that is complemented by the luxury family bathroom with a bath, walk in shower, basin and WC. The final bedroom is super king size that has an elegant ensuite shower room.
Outside there’s a generously sized garden that is family friendly, with beautifully planted borders and a large patio, rattan furniture and garden sofa providing a great spot to relax on a summers evening over dinner or a glass of wine.
