Kincraig 4 miles. A private track leads down to Tigh an Tearlach (Gaelic meaning Charlie’s House) which is superbly located in a peaceful and stunningly beautiful part of the Cairngorms National Park. Guests will be immediately impressed by the splendour of the surrounding countryside and the undeniable feeling that this is their very own piece of heaven! This spacious detached cottage has two generously proportioned bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room. The well-equipped kitchen has all the facilities required to ensure meals can be prepared with ease and the large sitting and dining room is a perfect place to relax and from which to fully appreciate the unspoilt beauty of the countryside from the expansive picture window. Set amongst a natural garden with flat fields to the front, it will be hard to leave the cottage to explore the area; but make sure that you do as there is so much to see. The village of Kincraig has a lively pub and a fabulous watersports and wildlife park. Aviemore is well known for its wide array of outdoor activities including skiing in the winter months and mountain biking and watersports all year round. For nature lovers this area is fantastic as the surrounding Cairngorms National Park is a hotspot for Scottish wildlife; red squirrel are common in the area and you might even catch a glimpse of the elusive pine marten. With walks, cycle paths and fabulous scenery in every direction, this is a simply perfect cottage for an unforgettable holiday. EPC Rating: Band E
