Hawes 4 miles. Situated in the picturesque village of Bainbridge in the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park is Tiplady Cottage, a characterful holiday home, perfect for couples, friends or a small family. With aa quaint study, and an abundance of walking and cycling opportunities in the area and from the door, this welcoming cottage is ideal for a delightful break at any time of year. When sleep calls, choose from two well-presented bedrooms, including a king-size bedroom with hardwood floor and a twin bedroom, each with the same homely and traditional feel that carries throughout the cottage. Freshen up in the mornings in the bathroom, which is back on the ground floor and offers both a bath and a shower over for your preference. Days out for any type of traveller can be enjoyed in the area․ There are walks to suit everyone straight from the door while the more adventurous may wish to continue on upwards to enjoy the rolling hills and higher terrain․ It’s only a short drive to Askrigg or Aysgarth Falls for more days out and a trip to the glacial lake at Semerwater is a must. It’s only a few miles to Hawes where you really should visit the cheese factory and history buffs may enjoy an afternoon at Dales Countryside Museum, while the walkers of the group may want to explore the cascading waters of Aysgill Force and Hardraw Force Waterfall. Further afield, a fascinating day can be had at The Forbidden Corner, a popular tourist attraction with tunnels and chambers nestled within a four-acre garden, or drive further through the heart of the Dales to visit Ribblehead, Malham or Wharfdale.
