For beach days out, Rock beach is just a couple of miles away with plenty of on and off the water activities to choose from including; sailing, water-skiing, paddle boarding, coastal walks and for a bit of fun, inflatable rides! With sweeping sand dunes to explore that lead you to the calm sheltered waters of Daymer Bay, a well-known family-friendly beach where children can enjoy a paddle and watch the kite surfers from the shore. The next bay along is the surfing hub of Polzeath suitable for all levels. You can hire surf equipment or book in for some lessons with the local surf schools found on the beach.
