Torrings Barn is a beautifully converted barn in the heart of the popular coastal village. East Prawle is a unique coastal village with a tranquil atmosphere and some stunning scenery. The village has an eclectic local pub that often hosts music in an adjoining hall, a village shop, café and easy access to the South West Coastal Path. A selection of beaches are on offer within a 3 mile radius, and access to the hugely popular town of Salcombe via the passenger ferry at East Portlemouth 2 miles away is easy. The bustling market town of Kingsbridge is a twenty minute drive away and historic Dartmouth is half an hour away.

East Prawle is a lovely rural village a mile inland from Prawle Point, the most southerly tip of Devon. The coastline here is rugged, with magnificent cliffs, delightful coves, hidden beaches, and a breathtaking stretch of the South West Coast Path. The area is quiet, unspoilt and boasts an abundance of wildlife and birds, including the rare cirl buntings which farmers and naturalists are working hard to protect.
East Prawle village is surrounded by fields with stunning rural and coastal views. The village has a green, the quirky former smugglers' hide, The Pig'sNose Inn, and the seasonal Piglet Stores and Café which serves excellent, hearty breakfasts and delicious cream teas. The nearby stretch of coastline is said to resemble the shape of a pig's head, which explains the local pig references!
From East Prawle you can take a 2 mile stroll to East Portlemouth to catch the ferry over to Salcombe to enjoy shops, cafés, restaurants, and everything else that the sailing mecca has to offer.
For walkers this area is idyllic rambling country which can begin or end at the award-winning Millbrook Inn, South Pool situated just off the main Kingsbridge to Dartmouth road. A walk in Pig country is guaranteed to be a most memorable and enjoyable experience!
