There are walks to the south leading to the famous surfing and kite-surfing beach at Watergate Bay and to the north along National Trust headlands to the iconic Bedruthan Steps. A five minute walk takes you to the village with its professional surf school, shops, cafes, restaurants and the popular Merrymoor Inn with beer garden overlooking the beach. Further afield you will find – The Eden project, Lanhydrock House and gardens, and The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
