Follow the footpath nearby to enjoy a beautiful stroll across the fields down to Porthilly cove and to Rock beach beyond. Sailors, water-skiers and paddleboarders will be kept busy exploring the Camel Estuary; equipment and lessons can be booked at Rock waterfront. Keen and budding surfers should head to Polzeath beach to immerse themselves in surfing vibes and the white waters of this popular beach resort; afterwards satisfy hunger pangs at one of the many great cafes and restaurants; try Masterchef winner James Nathan at the St Enodoc Hotel; visit Nathan Outlaw in Port Isaac or, of course, Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant or Bistro just across the estuary in Padstow.
