Here you will find a great selection of eateries, shops, Ambleside Roman Fort, a golf course where you can try out a game or two, and walks to Stock Ghyll Force. Watersports can be enjoyed in abundance, and there are many more incredible walks to be enjoyed throughout the Lake District National Park, including the Old Man of Coniston, and Scafel Pike.
