Brush up on the local history by visiting Dolbadarn Castle before following the self-guided Llanberis Heritage Trails taking you to fascinating places around the village. For the adrenaline seekers amongst us, nearby Bethesda is home to Zip World Velocity, the longest zip wire in Europe and Blaenau Ffestiniog plays host to Zip World Titan, Zip Caverns and Bounce Below, all located at Llechwedd Slate Caverns and are all well worth a visit. The coastline is also within easy reach, where you will find a plethora of beaches, as well as Caernarfon with its magnificent castle and town walls. As well as the attractions of Penrhyn and Bodnant Gardens awaiting to be explored, the Isle of Anglesey is also within striking distance, making Ty Bach and exceptional base for an action-packed holiday.
