    More Information

Ty Rhos, a well-positioned, two-bedroom home rests in the heart of Cardigan, a bustling market town in Ceredigion. Within a short walking distance to a hub of shops, eateries, pubs and attractions, Ty Rhos is set in a prime position, ideal for couples, families, groups and most particularly welcoming to your doggy companions, as you look to explore the delights of Mid and West Wales. Park up on the roadside and travel through the shared archway, reaching your new abode and its private, enclosed external path, offering a secure place for your warmly welcomed four-legged friends to roam. Step indoors to be greeted by the well-equipped, kitchen/diner, complete with all the appliances required for a self-catered stay, where you can prepare and enjoy meals together. The sitting room offers a homely feel, where you can recline on the plush corner sofa and catch up with your favourite programmes before sloping off to sleep in either the king-size or bunk bedrooms. Complete your morning routine in the shower room before travelling on foot into the town, where you can fill the fridge at a nearby supermarket, sample some local menus and enjoy a tipple, before touring the historic Cardigan Castle, the birthplace of the Welsh Eisteddfod. Just beyond the town limits is the Welsh Wildlife Centre, with a delightful viewing point for wildlife spotting, the National Trust remains of Cilgerran Castle and Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park, ideal for all of the family. With Poppit Sands and Mwnt Beach both within driving distance, spend sunny days relaxing upon their golden shorelines, building sandcastles, and taking a refreshing dip, before enjoying a bag of fish and chips for supper. Or head out into Cardigan Bay on a boat trip to see if you can spot one of its resident bottle nosed dolphins. Heading west, the explorers of the group can walk the majestic Preseli Hills and take a picture-perfect postcard image of the Neolithic Burial Chamber at Pentre Ifan. Heading north, the coastline villages of Aberporth and Llangrannog are always worth a visit, as is the Georgian, harbourside splendour of Aberaeron. When your day of exploring is done, return home for a meal in Cardigan’s Pizza Tipi or a pub meal in the Grosvenor, or enjoy a meal at Crwst or the award-winning Yr Hen Printworks, before some well-earned rest, back at your Ty Rhos base.
