It is within easy travelling distance from Abersoch, with its many restaurants, bars and coffee shops, Aberdaron, with its famous bakery and National Trust Visitor Centre, Pwllheli, for shops and supermarkets, and Llanbedrog, with its beautiful beach, bistro and art gallery. The North Wales Pilgrims Way follows the western coast of the peninsula and finishes at Bardsey Island, Aberdaron. There are numerous beaches within easy reach. Nearby, is the spectacular 16th century manor home of Plas yn Rhiw, a beautiful site preserved by the National Trust, providing a truly lovely spot to stretch your legs with a quiet stroll through the seasonal gardens.
