Upper Brackendale is a lovely, first floor apartment settled in the village of Taynuilt in the peaceful Scottish countryside. One of Taynuilt’s most popular attractions is the Bonawe Iron Furnace, the most complete charcoal fuelled ironworks in Britain while there is also a 9-hole golf club set overlooking the Loch Etive, perfect for those avid golfers. The village sits at the foot of Ben Cruachan between Loch Etive and Loch Awe, providing a stunning backdrop for walks and hikers. Head into the town of Oban, just 12.5 miles away and discover fascinating attractions such as McCaig’s Tower, a prominent landmark which dates back to 1897 and is open to the public year-round.
