Wake up with a nice shower before pouring yourself a hot drink to sip in the courtyard garden to kick off your day. Bishopsteignton is a charming village with a shop and pub where you can fill up on necessities, and there are other eateries and attractions in surrounding towns and villages. Teignmouth is a picturesque coastal town famed for its magnificent sandy beaches, arts district, and stately pier. The town is also home to the Shaldon Wildlife Trust, which is an excellent site to visit for wildlife lovers, as well as a few restaurants and pubs. Exeter is an easily accessible medieval city best known for its most renowned feature, Exeter Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece began in the 12th century. Riverside Valley Park, a scenic green space ideal for a leisurely stroll, and Northernhay Gardens, a tranquil sanctuary in the centre of the city, are also located in the city. You can also enjoy a multitude of walking and cycling options in the neighbouring Dartmoor National Park. Valley View is an ideal base for exploring Devon.
