A traditional stone townhouse near the heart of Windermere, Walkers Rest has shops, restaurants and Lake District attractions not far from its front door. Walkers Rest is a luxurious townhouse that is ideal for families or small groups of friends who want to be both centrally located for Windermere town and able to enjoy the tranquility of the Lake District. The cottage can sleep up to six people and offers a warm welcome for up to two dogs. There are two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, as well as two well appointed bathrooms – a downstairs bathroom and the family bathroom upstairs, featuring a shower with a contemporary and invigorating large rain head fitting. Accessed through patio doors from the kitchen/diner, outside youll find a private courtyard with patio furniture. Theres off street parking for one small car. While Windermere town has plenty of shops and restaurants, a little more locally youll find a small supermarket and a village high street full of independent shops and restaurants. Further afield, youll find the town of Bowness, and with Windermere lake just twenty minutes walk from your door, you can enjoy a lake cruise or hire a rowing boat to make the most of the picturesque scenery.
