Providing far-reaching views over the village towards the hills and valleys beyond, the little garden has a raised patio, the perfect place for planning the next days adventures over a meal and a drink. The conservation village of Winster has a well-stocked, community-owned village shop, a café, and two excellent pubs, while a lovely children’s playground and the 17th century, National Trust owned Market House, are just a short walk away. Matlock, Bakewell and Chatsworth House are close by, and walks into the wonderful countryside start right from the doorstep! For the more adventurous, Carsington Water, with its many activities, is only nine miles away, and Castleton, with its impressive caves, only 40 minutes away. This Winster cottage is an excellent base for a wonderful Peak District holiday, all year round.
