Offering off-road parking, pet-friendly accommodation, and a hot tub, this property is ideal for a family looking to explore Shropshire. Park off-road and be welcomed into this single-storey, well-presented property, unpacking into a light and airy open-plan living space. With contemporary amenities and décor, the kitchen is a great space to cook up a storm. Guests can indulge in a hearty meal at the dining table, complemented by a glass of fizz, before settling down into the sitting area with a good book, warming their feet beside the woodburning stove. When sleep calls, freshen up in the shower room, before cosying up for the night in one of the two well-presented bedrooms, with the option of a double with en-suite cloakroom, and a twin, which can be made as a double on request. When the sun is shining, head outside into the decking space and toast marshmallows at the fire pit, dine alfresco, or enjoy an opulent soak in the hot tub in the enclosed garden. Aston on Clun is a small, home to village store, and the quaint, The Kangaroo Inn. From here, you can also visit Craven Arms, for food, as well as the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre for an afternoon of entertainment. Explore Stokesay Castle or put on your hiking boots and venture into the stunning landscapes of the Shropshire Hills AONB, perfect for trekking, mountain biking, and birdwatching. Here you may discover treks surrounding Clun Castle and Bury Ditches. Outside of the AONB, there are more attractions such as Wigmore Castle, Ludlow Castle, Croft Castle and Parkland (managed by the National Trust), and Berrington Hall (also managed by the National Trust). There is so much on offer when you choose Wayside Lodge as your next Shropshire escape.
