Drive to the pretty village of Great Ayton with the dominant Roseberry Topping a must for walkers, or visit the historic fishing port of Whitby with its ancient abbey and Captain Cook’s museum, winner of the Visit England gold award in 2013. Racegoers will enjoy a day at Redcar races and there are several golf courses all within easy reach.
