Whether it’s building sandcastles on the beach, donkey rides, candy floss, or tasting fish and chips in the invigorating sea air, Scarborough has it all! There are cafes, tea rooms and fine restaurants to try, gardens and parks to explore and a quaint, historic harbour to visit. Climb up to the castle ruins, try your hand on the amusements or stroll along the promenade from North Bay to South Bay. The open-air theatre hosts many well-known bands, whilst the renowned Stephen Joseph Theatre is well worth a visit.
