Explore the area by boat on the Tamar Passenger Ferry or you can ride the train on the scenic Tamar Valley Railway Line. You also have Launceston in the north, with its Norman castle, Tavistock to the east, known as the gateway to Dartmoor and Saltash to the south famous for its Brunel Bridge.
