Continue on towards the beach at Polzeath, where you can have a go at surfing the waves, or for calmer waters and refreshing sea swimming, head to Daymer Bay, just a short drive away. For sailing enthusiasts, a drive down to the nautical heart of Rock is a must; waterskiing, wakeboarding and numerous other water-based activities can be found at the Sailing school, Sailing club and ski school. Wadebridge is the nearest town with wet weather options, including a leisure centre, independent shops, supermarkets, and a cinema, plus plenty of eateries to dine out and sample local menus.
