Nearby, you can explore Stanley Ghyll Waterfall to watch a cascading fall, immerse yourself in the past at the 2nd-century Hardknott Roman Fort or tee up at Eskdale Golf Course. Visit the small seaside village of Seascale, steeped in history with its Grey Croft Stone Circle and you can wander along Seascale Beach with an ice-cream in hand.
