Our ABI ‘The Pad’ caravan has a lovely spot in a quiet area of the park, with a deck and parking space immediately outside the van.
The van comprises a double bedroom with en suite shower and toilet, 2 twin rooms which share a further shower room with toilet. The communal space has a well equipped kitchen, with full size oven & 4 ring gas hob, full size fridge freezer, microwave, toaster & kettle. There is a dining space and a large comfy lounge area with TV and an electric fire for the cooler months.
There is gas central heating, with radiators in all rooms, including towel radiators in the shower rooms.
All linen and towels are provided (we do kindly ask you to provide towels for use at the pool or beach).
ParkDean Thorness Bay Resort is ideal for guests of all ages. The resort has a central complex that hosts a bar/restaurant, large children’s play area, indoor pool (with water slide), amusement arcade, convenience store, fish & chip shop and a launderette. During the peak season there is daily entertainment for all ages. There is a private pebble beach a 5 minute walk from the caravan, lovely for a stroll along or a paddle in the water. Entertainment passes to allow access to the facilities can be purchased for a minimal charge at the park reception.
The park facilities are closed from end of October to March, but the location is still a perfect spot to come to to explore all the Isle of Wight has to offer. We are located right on the coastal path, making it an ideal spot for ramblers, with Newtown Nature reserve to the south of the park. It is just a short drive to Newport and Cowes, and the beautiful beaches of the south of the island are less than a half hour drive.
There is an £80 service fee per booking (regardless of length of booking) that covers cleaning before & after your stay plus the laundering of bedding & towels that are provided as part of the stay.
