    St. Austell 3 miles. A delightful, detached, property situated on the edge of the quiet residential area of Carlyon Bay, close to St. Austell, Cornwall. This lovely cottage makes a wonderful base for exploring the surrounding area and the many attractions of south Cornwall. Bright and airy, this lovely cottage is comfortably furnished offering comfortable ground floor accommodation, with two lovely bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath. For extra flexibility, there is also a separate basin and WC. Enjoy preparing meals in the well-equipped kitchen, to be enjoyed in the dining area of the sitting room, whilst planning your activities for the days ahead. Head outside the cottage into either the front or rear gardens, which are private and enclosed, enjoying a refreshing drink on the patio or dining alfresco after a busy day out. The village of Carlyon Bay has a range of small shops and fields by the cottage lead down to the glorious beach. Spend a day on one of the other nearby beaches, or enjoy a walk along the scenic coastal path, visiting the area’s stately homes and gardens. There is also the beach and golf course only half a mile away. Visit Charlestown with its Tall Ships harbour and Shipwreck & Heritage Museum and just four miles away from this attractive cottage is the world-renowned Eden Project, and together with the Lost Gardens of Heligan, there is no shortage of things to see and do. Take a trip on the coastal path, which passes over the cliff tops along Pentewan’s fabulous beach, across to the fishing port of Mevagissey, and on towards the Roseland Peninsula, also well worth a visit.
