Outside
Accessed from the patio doors is a stunning raised deck with large dining table to seat 8 and barbecue. It is a perfect place to enjoy dinner watching the sunset over the sea.
The heated outdoor pool in the lower courtyard is open from May Spring Bank Holiday to September, the indoor heated pool is open all year and there are changing rooms and an adjacent shower room with WC. The all weather tennis court is located in a peaceful spot in the mown four-acre grounds that include an orchard and a croquet lawn.
The local area
South Huish is a tiny hamlet, peacefully nestled in picturesque countryside in one of the loveliest corners of Devon, between the sailing mecca of Salcombe and popular village of Thurlestone.
Less than a mile away is the beach at Thurlestone Sands, wonderful for sunbathing, swimming and watersports. The village of Thurlestone is a little further on, home to the recently refurbished Village Inn, and the famous links golf course. The beautiful waterside town of Salcombe, with its array of independent boutiques, cafés and pubs and family-friendly golden beaches is only 3 miles away.
Other excellent beaches in the vicinity include South Milton Sands, Hope Cove and Soar Mill Cove, to name just a few, and the nearby South Huish Reserve, visited by up to 200 bird species a year, is a fantastic spot for nature lovers to relax and watch the wildlife.
The pretty market town of Kingsbridge is just a 10-minute drive away and offers a good selection of shops, restaurants and pubs, plus two supermarkets, a small cinema and a leisure centre with indoor pool.

Parking
Car parking is available. Guests are asked to park one car in the lower or upper car parks. Additional cars, once unloaded, should be moved to the overflow car park.
There are two Electric Vehicle (EV) charge points located in the top car park. The EV charger points are supplied by Project EV and are operated via their mobile phone App (charges apply). It is a 22 kilowatt AC charger with a type 2 socket. Owners are to provide their own cable.
