Llandegveth 1 mile. This cottage is attached to the owner’s farmhouse on the outskirts of the village of Llandegveth, just a short distance from Cwmbran. The farm is framed by beautiful hills, woods, meadows and the valley of Sor Brook, which meanders through the fields. Walk through the front door of the cottage into the open plan living area and you are immediately drawn to the glorious panoramic views of the surrounding countryside through the double-aspect windows. Beautifully appointed throughout, the sitting area has comfy sofas, ideal for relaxing after a day’s walking or sightseeing, whilst the well-equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar and seating to enjoy home-cooked meals. Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms, one with a king-size bed the other with two singles, both with far-reaching views of the countryside. Outside, there is a lawned garden and a patio, ideal for enjoying a refreshing drink whilst taking in the stunning views. Just a short distance from Llandegveth is the Llandegfedd Reservoir watersports centre where you can try sailing, windsurfing, power boating, paddleboarding, canoeing or fishing. For something less energetic, why not spend some time sightseeing and visiting some of the picturesque nearby towns such as Abergavenny, Usk, Monmouth or Chepstow. Glebe Farm Cottage is an ideal place to enjoy the activities and countryside in this part of Wales.
