The walk up Loughrigg Fell itself from Ambleside will reveal breathtaking scenery looking up Lake Windermere, over Rydal Water, Grasmere and Loughrigg Tarn. Why not walk over the fell to Grasmere where you can enjoy a snack at one of the cafes and then head back passing Rydal Caves and back to Ambleside. For the more adventurous, higher climbs are available up Sweden Bridge and the Fairfield Horseshoe. This location is perfect for a real Lake District holiday with breathtaking views to enjoy at any time of the year.
