Harlech 1.2 miles. A wonderful detached bungalow, benefiting from an elevated position overlooking Shell Island and the Cardigan Bay coastline in the pretty Welsh village of Llanfair, just over a mile from the historic castle town of Harlech in the stunning Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. This superb cottage has been fully-refurbished to a high standard throughout and offers stylish accommodation, providing an excellent holiday home for couples, friends and being arranged all on one level is great for those who perhaps would otherwise struggle with stairs. This quality cottage has a spacious sitting room with some wonderful views, comfy seating and a heart-warming wood burning stove, perfect for those cosy nights in watching your favourite films. The superb well-equipped kitchen is spacious and open up to the dining room, creating a great space to prepare meals together and enjoy. All three bedrooms are airy and fresh, with comfy beds to make sure you get a good nights sleep, all serviced by a bathroom, and there is an additional cloakroom for added convenience. There is ample parking to the front and a garage providing secure storage for bikes and kayaks. Enjoy this surprisingly mild climate, and wander out into the front garden, where a choice of sitting areas display wonderful vistas to sit and admire with a chilled drink. The Zig Zag path takes you down to the peaceful and virtually unused southern end of the beach. There is something to suit everybody in the local area; the unspoilt beaches at Llandanwg, with rock pools and miles of sandy beach at Harlech are within easy walking distance. You can visit the majestic castle in Harlech, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and indulge at one of the towns many shops and restaurants. You could use the pool or climbing wall at the leisure centre or have a round of golf at the Royal St David’s Golf Course next to the sand dunes. Alternatively, visit the popular seaside resort of Barmouth for a fun-packed day at the beach as well as visiting Porthmadog, Portmeirion and Criccieth which are all within easy reach. A superb location from which to explore this delightful area anytime of the year.
