The Zig Zag path takes you down to the peaceful and virtually unused southern end of the beach. There is something to suit everybody in the local area; the unspoilt beaches at Llandanwg, with rock pools and miles of sandy beach at Harlech are within easy walking distance. You can visit the majestic castle in Harlech, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and indulge at one of the towns many shops and restaurants. You could use the pool or climbing wall at the leisure centre or have a round of golf at the Royal St David’s Golf Course next to the sand dunes. Alternatively, visit the popular seaside resort of Barmouth for a fun-packed day at the beach as well as visiting Porthmadog, Portmeirion and Criccieth which are all within easy reach. A superb location from which to explore this delightful area anytime of the year.
