The kitchen is wonderfully-appointed to the rear of the cottage, and has been fitted with all high-quality appliances, so you can rustle up a delicious home-cooked meal for the whole family. The ground floor also benefits from a cloakroom and a snug area, which has a sofa and TV, the perfect place to have some quiet space, for your little ones to play in, or for you to enjoy a good book. Upstairs there are three bedrooms: one king-size with en-suite shower room and two twin bedded rooms, which all boast lovely views across the village, with ample storage space for your personal items. The family bathroom is on the first floor also, with a bath and separate shower, so you can decide how best to prepare for your day. To the rear is an enclosed South-facing lawned garden and decking area with furniture – the perfect spot to sit out with a refreshing glass of wine. It’s an easy walk from Bransmead down to the beautiful Lulworth Cove. The protected waters here make it a great spot for young children to enjoy the sea. The iconic rock arch Durdle Door (Dorset’s most photographed landmark) is just one of the beaches within walking distance. You might also venture towards the picturesque Man O’War Beach or St Oswald’s Bay which are both ideal for families to enjoy a day at the beach topping up on that tan, or enjoying a relaxing swim in the water.For a taste of history, visit the 17th century Lulworth Castle, which is set in stunning landscaped parkland, offering opportunities for woodland walks, a nearby children’s playground, so the whole family can be entertained here. Discover the Castle Tearoom, where you can get a taste for delicious homemade cakes and cream teas. The fabulous Monkey World, which spans across 65-acres and houses endangered primates is something your children will delight in and The Tank Museum at Bovington provides a great family day out.
