    More Information

Located inside the Exmoor National Park, the principal part of this stunning converted Georgian coach house is perfect for a family retreat to the Somerset coastline. Explore Exmoor and the ancient parish of Nettlecombe from the doorstep, hunt for fossils along Somerset’s Jurassic coast or take a steam-train ride on the West Somerset Railway. Visit Cleeve Abbey, an ancient English Heritage monastery, the enchanting Dunster Castle, a National Trust gem, or the picturesque harbour town of Watchet, home to a marina, museums and thriving street markets. Or relax in the secluded and enclosed garden with a traditional open fronted barn. A south-facing outdoor sofa area is a real sun-trap. Enjoy an evening stroll to the nearby Notley Arms gastro-pub, for a drink in the beer garden or an award-winning meal. Or spend evenings cooking up a storm in the amply-equipped kitchen/diner before gathering round the dining table or enjoying a spot of alfresco dining on the patio. A magnificent first floor sitting room awaits upstairs, bursting with original features and local art, exposed oak beams, and a polished wooden floor. The ground floor houses a twin bedroom with doors out onto the garden and a double bedroom with en suite shower room, as well as a separate cloakroom with basin and WC. A third bedroom awaits on the first floor, with a double bed and an elegant en suite bathroom. There are a range of amenities located nearby, including the shops, pubs, restaurants, and cafés in Williton and Watchet. The Quantock Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is a short drive away.
