Bailey Cottage is a delightful stone terraced cottage settled in Greenfield and is an ideal base for friends or a family looking for a getaway to Greater Manchester as well as for hikers and mountain bikers. There are two golf courses within easy reach, Andrew Earlam Golf and Stamford Golf Club, as well as local walks at the close by Peak District National Park. Walks include Dovestone Reservoir, where there is a sailing club, Charnel Stones, Dovestone Edge, The Trinnacle, Wildboar Clough and many more. For a day in the city, catch the train into Manchester and enjoy the many shops, pubs, bars and eateries, as well as the National Football Museum, Manchester Art Gallery, Science and Industry Museum and live music at one of the many venues.
