In the opposite direction you can head into Rhiw which boasts a 4 mile sandy beach and Plas yn Rhiw, a 16th century National Trust manor house with surrounding gardens. A little further afar you can discover the coastal Castell Criccieth, head into Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) for an exciting day in the countryside, or take a thrill seeking adventure at Glasfryn Parc which is an activity centre hosting go karting, archery, watersports, bowling and much more.
