Surrounded by the owner’s livestock and arable farm, this gorgeous cottage is ideal for families or friends looking for a superb quality base while they explore this dramatic corner of Scotland. A delightful comfortable sitting room with a woodburning stove and sun room offer splendid views to the coast and the Irish Sea. The superbly-equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar and dining area, and benefits from a wine cooler, a range cooker and granite worktops. The cottage offers flexible accommodation with two ground floor bedrooms, a cloakroom and a wheelchair ramp at the rear door. The first floor has three further bedrooms, all of which can be configured to meet your requirements. Guests can enjoy their favourite music through the Bose sound system and indulge themselves with the luxurious Arran Aromatics toiletries. Outside, there are lawned gardens to the rear and side with stunning views of the Corsewall Lighthouse and the coast. There are many coastal trails to enjoy including a pleasant walk to the Lighthouse Hotel which serves a good selection of food and drink. Guests can visit the sandy beaches and cliffs of the Mull of Galloway, Scotland’s most southerly point, or one of the six formal gardens in the area, Stranraer and Loch Ryan, or even take a ferry to Belfast across the Irish Sea.
