Outside

Across the lane, on the opposite side (a dead-end road), you'll find a tarmac parking area that can accommodate one car. From this parking spot, a set of half a dozen gated steps ascends to a spacious, well-maintained lawned garden with a charming shrub border. Garden furniture is provided, allowing you to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. Additional parking options are available in the nearby free village car park, ensuring convenient access for multiple vehicles. It's worth noting that supervision is necessary for pets and young children while they are outside in the garden.

The local area

At the head of Mylor Creek, a sheltered inlet of the famous Carrick Roads estuary, sits Mylor Bridge. Right on the water’s edge, and only five miles away from Falmouth, holidays in Mylor Bridge are filled with riverside walks, fresh seafood suppers, waterside pubs and sailing, SUPing and boating adventures.

The village itself is home to a friendly village pub, the Lemon Arms, and a great selection of shops. There’s both a butcher and a fishmonger, where you can stock up on local produce and super fresh seafood to take back to your holiday cottage for summer barbecues.

But the main draw to the village is its stunning waterside location. The river estuaries that surround Falmouth harbour are renowned for their sailing conditions, and Mylor Creek is no exception. Set sail along the Carrick Roads, discovering beautiful wooded inlets, or head out to the open waters of Falmouth Bay. The sheltered waters of Mylor Creek are also perfect for kayaking, canoeing and stand-up paddle boarding, or you could hire a little motor boat and set off on a family adventure armed with a pasty picnic. Just two miles outside of the village you’ll find Mylor Yacht Harbour, a one stop shop for all things nautical, from marinas, moorings and water sport and boat hire, to sailing schools and seafood restaurants.
