Entrance is directly besides the parking area, down a flight of 12 stairs, with a hand rain, into the welcoming sunny apartment. The Living/dining room has an electric coal effect stove, TV with Freeview and internal DVD player, dining table with seating for 4. The galley Kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge with freezer box, electric cooker. The master bedroom has a 4ft 6in double bed and relaxing chairs to watch the views. The twin bedroom has two 2ft 6in beds. The family bathroom fully refurbished 2016, large shower cubicle, large electric towel rail, WC and wash hand basin. The apartment has night storage heating along with secondary heating when necessary.

Sitting above the lovely harbour side of West Looe, with its wonderful views of the busy water-way and out to sea, Flat 4, West Quay House is a peaceful and comfortabl, highly convenient apartment. This holiday retreat offers bright and airy, relaxed accommodation within easy reach of all that Looe has to give. It is an ideal base to explore the lively seaside town as well as the many attractions that Cornwall has to offer. If you can tear yourself away from the stunning views out of the living room and master bedroom windows, you could explore East Looe, which is a matter of an easy 10 minute walk away, with its vibrant shops, restaurants and pubs as well as the super sandy beach. Closer to the apartment there are a number of local cafes and shops, along with the Jolly Sailor pub reputedly the oldest in Looe. The ferry boat can nip you across the harbour at high tide in a couple of minutes.

The local area

The bustling town of Looe is divided by the ever-changing river that separates quieter West Looe from the absorbing waterfront of East Looe, with its diversity of shops, restaurants and pubs, Banjo pier and sandy beach.

The pace and routine of life in Looe follows the ebb and flow of the tide and the movement of boats returning with their catch of fresh fish. Local boatman can ferry visitors to and from either quay, or alternatively, you can enjoy a pleasant cruise along the beautiful and rugged coastline, keeping an eye out for the schools of dolphins that can often be spotted in the bay.

A guided tour will draw you deeper into the labyrinth of ancient buildings, clustered together in the narrow streets and courtyards that make up the old town of East Looe. Visit the 16th century Old Guildhall museum with its interesting exhibits detailing the town's diverse history, or relax and just while away the hours on the wonderful sandy beach, separated from the river mouth by the Banjo Pier.

The South East Cornish coastline is dotted with lovely beaches, hidden coves, and pretty seaside villages to explore. You can also join the magnificent South West Coast Path to enjoy bracing cliff top walks with spectacular views.

For a different kind of day out, the Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary is just outside Looe, providing vital refuge for primates in need, and a fascinating family activity whilst supporting a great cause.

A holiday in Looe offers a convenient base for enjoying the diverse range of things to do in the seaside town and the surrounding South East Cornish coastline.

For one car outside the front door, please not that parking is on a shared basis with 5 appts sharing 4 spaces. It is advisable to put the name of the property in the windscrene when parking outside. There is plent of additional parking a few minutes walk away on the Quayside, which is charged at local rates.
