You have a well-equipped and spacious kitchen. In the kitchen, you will find a dishwasher, large fridge, separate freezer, electric range oven with ceramic hob, microwave and washing machine.
Living / Dining Room
A living/dining room straight ahead with sliding door out onto a large south facing decked balcony which looks out across gorgeous countryside and of course down towards the sea and Port Isaac itself. The living room has comfy, easy seating,a dining table and chairs for four, a television and an open fire to provide supplementary heating if required.
Bedrooms
The two bedrooms (both located to the rear of the property overlooking the garden) comprise of a twin bedroom with two (low to the floor maybe not ideal for older people) single beds and a 5ft zip and link bed. Both bedrooms are carpeted and have ample hanging and drawer space between them. Wash basin in the twin bedroom.

A family bathroom WC with a separate shower cubicle and an additional WC.

With the coastal path so close by, Silvershell is an ideal base for those who love scenic walks, fresh sea air and ever-changing views.
The renowned and picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac is just a short walk away. Here, you can wander down to the beach and harbour to watch local fishermen bringing in the catch of the day which you’ll very likely enjoy later in one of the village’s welcoming restaurants or cafés.
Just around the corner lies the charming cove of Port Gaverne, complete with its own beach and pub/hotel, offering another delightful spot to explore.
A little further afield, the family-friendly golden sands of Polzeath are only six miles away, while the dog-friendly beach at Daymer Bay is just eight miles. The bustling town of Wadebridge, around ten miles away, offers a wide range of amenities including supermarkets and a two-screen cinema.
For memorable days out, the popular villages of Tintagel and Boscastle are less than half an hour’s drive, while the lively seaside town of Bude sits further along the north coast on the Atlantic Highway, approximately 25 miles away, providing plenty to enjoy for the whole family.
From the decked balcony a few decked steps take you down to the large, enclosed lawn garden with mature shrubs. Table and chairs are provided to the balcony. Barbecue provided.
With its narrow streets of white-washed cottages and Cornish slate-fronted houses, winding your way through picturesque Port Isaac can feel like taking a step back in time. Steeped in maritime history, the village was once home to a thriving pilchard fishing industry and a bustling port, and with much of the old centre of the village dating back to the 18th century, many buildings here are officially listed because of their architectural and historic importance.
Today Port Isaac is an idyllic spot to base your holiday in Cornwall. Based in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and on the Atlantic Heritage Coast, there are beautiful views whichever way you look. During the summer months, fishing and scenic trips can be taken from the harbour, whilst the South West Coast Path offers stunning coastal views at any time of year.
Nearby Port Gaverne is a pretty unspoilt cove around the corner from Port Isaac which is perfect for families with young children, with its sheltered, sandy beach, and plenty of fascinating rock pools to explore. Whilst the popular surfing beach at Polzeath, is just 4 miles away, as is the golden sandy beach at Daymer Bay, which is very family and dog-friendly.
A few miles to the west, and within hiking distance, is Port Quin, a village deserted since sometime in the 19th century when all of its menfolk were lost one night in a storm at sea. Now it is primarily owned by the National Trust. The walk from Port Isaac to Port Quin offers breathtaking views, and along the route you will pass Doyden Castle, a truncated Gothic tower on a rocky outcrop that was once used in the TV drama, Poldark.
Just 1.5 miles from Port Isaac you'll come across the only public gardens on the North Cornish coast, Long Cross Victorian Gardens. The gardens overlook the coastline and retain their original Victorian layout, featuring 4 acres, a maze, small lake, dovecote, children's play area and pets' corner.
