More information

Greystones is the middle one of three Edwardian properties and ticks lots of boxes being in a sought after area of Bowness and really handy for everything that Bowness has to offer the holiday visitor…putting you in an ideal spot for walking to Lake Windermere, shopping and eating out, cinema, lake cruises and enjoyable walks from the door. Bowness is a year-round destination, popular with old and young alike. A short, less than five minute stroll, brings you to the shops and a bit further down the hill, The World of Beatrix Potter, and picturesque Bowness Bay with its steamer pier and boat hire. Walk from the door to Brantfell via Post Knott for fine views of the lake or join up to the Dales Way for an extended ramble in beautiful countryside towards School Knott and beyond.

Accommodation: Front door entrance into hallway. There are two reception rooms, a charming bay-windowed dining room to the front (gas flame fire, cd player/radio), and a cosy sitting room to the rear (Log burner, flat screen TV with You View/blu-ray DVD, free wi-fi broadband). Bright modern kitchen with underfloor heating and a door to rear courtyard.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a spacious double bedroom at the front with brass bedstead, and a second twin room. Family bathroom (p-shaped bath with shower over, basin, wc and underfloor heating). Useful separate WC (WC and basin) on the second floor. Remaining rooms on third floor not accessible as for owner’s use only.

Furnishings throughout are comfortable with fitted carpets and gas central heating. Decor really complements the property including William Morris fabrics and wallpapers in carefully chosen colours.

Outside: Rear yard with decked area for eating outside. Steps up to garage which has room for one small car or offers safe lockable bike storage. Parking is either in the garage or on street. Short walk to shops/pubs etc
