This beautifully presented cottage is nestled in the picturesque village of Lelant, conveniently located on the main road to Carbis Bay and St Ives.
Lelant has all the charm of a traditional Cornish village, with the historic St Uny Church, two welcoming pubs, and several excellent local eateries. The stunning sandy beach at Porthkidney is just a few minutes’ walk away, and nature lovers will enjoy the nearby RSPB Hayle Estuary reserve, less than a mile from Halfpenny Cottage.
The village also benefits from excellent transport links. Lelant is served by a branch railway line with direct (though limited) trains to St Ives, as well as a seasonal open-top sightseeing bus that tours West Cornwall. For visitors arriving by train, St Erth station one of the final stops from London Paddington en route to Penzance is under 2 miles from Halfpenny Cottage.
