Hideaway Cottage is a charming retreat tucked away in the characterful village of Appledore, Devon, offering a welcoming base for up to four guests keen to explore this lively coastal corner. Step inside to a cosy sitting room, where a woodburning stove sets the tone for relaxed evenings after wandering the quayside or nearby beaches. The kitchen is well-equipped for easy meal prep, while the dining room provides a pleasant spot to sit down and enjoy them together. Upstairs, you’ll find two inviting double bedrooms, one benefiting from its own en-suite basin and WC for a little added convenience. A ground-floor bathroom, complete with bath and shower over, basin and WC, serves the rest of the cottage. Outside, steps lead to an enclosed first-floor garden with seating, offering a private spot to catch some fresh sea air. While there’s no dedicated parking, public car parks are close by. Two small or one medium well-behaved pet are welcome too. From the doorstep, Appledore’s independent shops, cafés and waterfront are ready to explore, with nearby Bideford, Instow and Westward Ho! all within easy reach. The South West Coast Path and the picturesque village of Clovelly are also well worth a visit, making Hideaway Cottage a great base for a Devon escape.
