After a long day of exploring, come back to your home-away-from-home and unwind by watching a film on the Smart TV. A well-equipped kitchen has all the tools you’ll need to whip up a tasty, home-cooked meal for the whole family to savour around the dinner table, whilst you listen to each other’s favourite parts of the day. In the evenings, relax with a glass of wine on the balcony overlooking the trees that line Lake Windermere. When sleep calls, tuck the kids in the twin room before retiring for a well-earned rest in the plush double.
When you’re ready, head on-foot into the centre of Bowness-on-Windermere, which rests on the magnificent Lake Windermere. The World of Beatrix Potter, just a short walk from your lodgings; the National Trust’s Wray Castle; Brockhole on Windermere; and Treetop Lake District’s Treetop Trek and Treetop Nets are just a few of the many family-friendly attractions you can enjoy here.

Ambleside, a nearby town just north along the Lake, is well worth a visit. The Ambleside Roman Fort is a great place for history enthusiasts to visit and be sure to pop into Zeffirellis or Copper Pot to refuel and relax after a day of exploring the town.
