The house is beautifully decorated with a mix of colours and textures creating a relaxing and cosy space to enjoy the tranquil setting and sea views. With the calming sound of the sea lapping up on the shore and the views across to the Isle of Wight and Old Harry Rocks on the Isle of Purbeck, the location is truly magical.

Enjoy the local culinary delights of Rick Steins Restaurant just a few moments away and a choice of cafes and bistros also on your doorstep. Or take a dip into the water sports on offer with kite and wind surfing, paddleboarding and kayaking in the harbour and bay.

The house offers an open plan living, dining and kitchen area, which is the highlight of the house. With vaulted ceilings, a beautiful log burner, sea views and doors leading to the garden and the beach beyond. Four seaside inspired bedrooms accommodate up to eight guests and dogs are a welcome addition in this lovely family home.

Outside

From the drive area, the pathway leads up to the house through the front garden area with mature pine trees.

To the rear of the house, there is a private patio area with a selection of deck chairs and sun loungers and outdoor dining for eight an open fireplace, gas and charcoal BBQ. The garden is part lawned and part sand dune with a gate leading directly to the beach

The local area

With a blue-flag beach, beautiful natural harbour and within 3 and a half hours drive from London and the Midlands, Sandbanks offers a spectacular beach holiday destination that ticks all of the boxes.

Having earned a reputation as the UK’s answer to Palm Springs, Sandbanks is a small peninsula of land that juts out into Poole Harbour. The golden stretch of Sandbanks Beach runs the length of the peninsula and beyond, offering safe areas for swimming, barbecues and a beautiful spot to watch the sun rise and fall.

A holiday in Sandbanks offers something for everyone with endless coastal walks, interesting day trips, great restaurants and lovely safe beaches for both kids, dogs and grown-ups to play.

If water sports are your thing, then both the harbour side and bay provide a playground for sailors, paddle boarders and boat enthusiasts. The legendary Shell Bay chain ferry clunks and creaks between the tip of Sandbanks and Studland across the bay, offering visitors the chance to day trip over to the Isle of Purbeck with its famous beaches, world heritage coastline and nature reserve.

The National Trust owned Brownsea Island rests in the middle of Poole Harbour and is well worth an explore for its unique wildlife, heathland and lagoon.

Whatever your reason for visiting Sandbanks, you’ll find plenty to keep you entertained in this beautiful corner of Dorset.
