More information

Keepers Cottage is a detached, situated on a working farm. Located one mile from Chapel-en-le-Frith, this cottage offers lovely views over natural landscape and boasts a delightful out-building. Very much a country cottage, there are plenty of walking opportunities right on your doorstep, making this retreat perfect for a group of travellers or a family looking to get away from it all. You will feel the sense of charm upon arrival, and this continues as you wander inside to the open-plan lounge. Certainly a home-away-from-home; hours can be spent socialising with your loved ones as you prepare those appetising meals at the kitchen/diner. The traditional seating area is your night time escape for a cosy hour or two in front of the woodburner watching your favourite shows. For a change of scenery or a social gathering, the second sitting room is equally as comfortable, tied together with a gas fire and lovely décor. The next floor houses two double bedrooms and a twin, all complete to a standard of quality, with countryside views that you can wake up to every day that goes by. The same level of character and charm follows you from the ground floor up, and a family bathroom completes the accommodation. Outside there is plenty of space to unwind, with a courtyard, patio and a wonderful lawn area to admire the countryside sunsets and beyond. Chapel-en-le-Frith is known as the Capital of the Peaks, with its cobbled market place and historic old stocks. A short drive away are an abundance of attractions including the Blue John Cavern and the castle at Castleton, Visit the nearby stately homes such as Chatsworth House and Lyme Hall. A memorable base to return to whatever the season.
