Lee Shore is a dog-friendly holiday home tucked away in peaceful surroundings in the pretty seaside village of Milford on Sea. Situated in a very quiet cul-de-sac, the house offers excellent dog-walking within a 5-minute walk along the Danes Stream and the Upper and Lower Pleasure Gardens. Just a short drive to the clifftop with far-reaching views across Christchurch Bay and The Solent towards The Needles, Lee Shore provides comfortable accommodation for up to 8 guests. Lee Shore is available for long weekends and short breaks.
The owners have made their holiday home available for guests and therefore it has been configured accordingly to meet their family needs whilst being lovingly filled and well-equipped with all that you could need in a self-catering holiday home. The lounge offers a restful space to relax after a busy day exploring, and the large kitchen diner opens onto a conservatory overlooking the pretty rear garden. There is a downstairs WC for guest convenience Upstairs there are four spacious bedrooms, a family bathroom, and shower room.
Centred around the village green, Milford on Sea showcases many fantastic eateries and shops, including a butcher, baker, and greengrocer alongside two popular convenience stores. The newsagent’s acts as a local information point where you can drop in and pick up leaflets about Milford and the surrounding area.
Milford on Sea provides many coastal walking options and forms part of the Solent Way. To the north is the New Forest National Park, just a short 10-minute drive away, with many cycling, walking, and riding opportunities.

On a clear day, you’ll be able to gaze all the way to the chalky sea stacks known as the Needles which stand off the Isle of Wight, and under a blanket of twinkling stars on a dark night you’ll see the distant harbour lights of Christchurch, Poole and Bournemouth.
The best thing about Milford on Sea is the ease at which you can swap the fresh sea air of the Solent for the leafy woodland glades of the majestic New Forest, making it the ideal base from which to explore the many wending ways of Hampshire.
One of Milford on Sea’s most popular local walks takes in a sweeping stretch along Hurst Spit between the saltmarshes and mudflats and the sparkling bay waters. The path leads you all the way to the medieval ramparts of Hurst Castle and the brilliant white cylindrical walls of Hurst Point Lighthouse, which was built in the 1860s.
The village green is the centre point of the village surrounded by some lovely cafes, a delicatessaen, a wonderful bakery, butcher, fruit & veg shop, fish & chip shop and newsagents to name a few. There is also a wine bar and micro brewery – both offering take away so as you can enjoy your drink sat on the green and the local pub serving good food – especially popular for their sunday roast !
