Alternatively, the market town of Carnforth has supermarkets, restaurants, and takeaways for all your self-catering needs, as well as Carnforth Swimming Pool and the nearby Capernwray Diving Centre for an outdoor adventure. Head further south to the bustling Morecambe with its sandy beach, picturesque Promenade, and Happy Mount Park, whilst the city of Lancaster has plenty of attractions from Lancaster Castle to panoramic views from Williamson Park. If you’re looking for more outdoor adventures, the Lake District National Park is a short drive away; Levens Hall, the National Trust’s Sizergh, and Lakeland Maze Farm Park are all nearby.
