    More Information

A delightful, spacious terraced cottage, in the heart of the old mining village of Cwmgors, 6 miles from Ammanford, at the base of the picturesque Black Mountain. Lovingly restored with great attention to detail, with warm, welcoming accommodation, this charming cottage offers a cosy sitting room, a well-equipped, sunny kitchen with dining area, and three attractive, comfortable bedrooms. The pretty garden has a patio area as well as a meadow garden, which has an abundance of wild flowers, attracting many birds and butterflies. There are views of Black Mountain from the garden, making it a lovely spot for outdoor dining. This wonderful cottage lies at the crossroads of four areas of natural beauty; to the east you can be at the peak of the Black Mountain in the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons) within half an hour and to the west lies Swansea Bay, the Mumbles and the stunning Gower coastline. The epic and romantic castles of Carmarthenshire lie just 20 minutes away to the north, whilst the hauntingly beautiful Vale of Neath, and its waterfalls, lie very close by to the south. A convenient, relaxing base, and a wonderful cottage for a memorable family holiday.
