Hire a bike from the local shop to cycle along the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path to discover the impressive nature reserve of South Stack, where Elin’s Tower, the South Stack Lighthouse and Caer y Twr can be found, along with abundant birdwatching opportunities. Continue along the coast to Holyhead, a town steeped in history, which you can learn of in the local Maritime Museum, before strolling along the Old Harbour into town. The town also hosts a train station and a ferry port, where you can board a ferry to Ireland for an oversea outing in Dublin. Enjoy walks along the coastal path to Rhoscolyn for a great time to enjoy. The main part of Anglesey is home to a variety of picture-postcard settlements that feature a great selection of landmarks to see; or you can travel a little further to the mainland of North Wales, where the delights of Bangor, Llandudno and Snowdonia National Park await.
