Head down a few steps to the front door into your hall for discarding shoes and coats. The sitting room is a charming, uncluttered space where you can watch TV beside the wood burner or sit quietly and gaze across lovely countryside views and spot birds and wildlife. The kitchen is neat and well equipped for preparing meals to enjoy in the dining room down a step. The three bedrooms are simple and comfortable for enjoying a good nights sleep. All around the bungalow you can stretch out, run and share barbecues on the lawn in the enclosed garden, and the children will have fun playing table tennis in the outhouse. When you feel like exploring further afield, the beautiful sandy beach at Lannacombe is within walking distance and from there you can pick up the South West Coast Path for fabulous walking with cliff top views and a visit to the lighthouse at Start Point and the excellent pub and fish and chips café at Beesands village. For more of a lively buzz, take the ferry from East Portlemouth to fashionable Salcombe to wander the tempting boutique shops and galleries and eat out at restaurants. Kingsbridge is another interesting little town which also has a good choice of shops and restaurants, as well as boat trips. And if activities are your thing, this is an excellent area for sailing, kayaking or paddleboarding around the lovely coast and estuaries. With plenty of comfort and beautiful scenery, Orchard View is a smashing holiday home.
