The Outspan is a characterful, 1930’s detached home set in the heart of the prestigious Sandbanks Peninsula. The house retains many of its original features including wooden floors, panelling and the wonderful fireplace housing a cosy woodburning stove. Now lovingly restored and updated by the current owners, the rooms are light, bright and spacious and the decor reflects the age of the property and the colours of the surrounding seascapes.
This lovely home is just a few minutes walk from the Blue Flag beaches that Sandbanks is famous for and an array of cafes and restaurants including Rick Steins and Rockwater and Poole harbour is also just a short stroll away, this popular spot for watersports attracts visitors and locals alike. Try a spot of kite surfing or hire paddleboards or kayaks and set out for a day of adventure on the water.
Also within walking distance are the Sandbanks chain ferry and the Brownsea Island ferry. Take a trip across to Studland and explore the rural countryside of the Isle of Purbeck ,home to the village of Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door on the stunning Jurassic Coast or sail over to Brownsea National Trust site where you may get a glimpse of the elusive red squirrels that inhabit the island.

The National Trust owned Brownsea Island rests in the middle of Poole Harbour and is well worth an explore for its unique wildlife, heathland and lagoon.
